We are excited to announce that the Foundation for Social Connection and partner Far From Alone will host Conversations on Belonging, Connection, and Wellbeing on June 15th at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, Room SVC-209-08 in Washington, D.C. Taking place during Global Loneliness Awareness Week (June 13-17, 2022), Conversations on Belonging, Connection, and Wellbeing will feature key speakers including U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, Senator Tina Smith (D-MN), and more special guests to be announced.
Join us in hearing from premier thought-leaders, change-agents, and advocates as they share their perspectives on how social connection is vital to our health and ability to thrive, as well as what can be done to ensure all people have a sense of belonging.
This event will be held in-person in Washington, D.C., but will also be streamed virtually. Please note that there are a limited number of spaces for the in-person event, so if you are planning to attend in Washington please register early.
